Private Barr of the 73rd Regiment
Our guide at the citadel. Very knowledgeable and gave us descriptions of the citadel's defensive designs (octagonal shape, sunken into the ground, ditch instead of moat, ravelins to deter and confuse the enemy). The citadel was so impressive and well built that it was never actually attacked. Our guide also gave us a rundown of his uniform. Did you know that each regiment is sponsored by a Scottish clan and therefore wear the tartan kilt and seal of that clan (this one is McKinsey, I think).
