We decided against Iles de Frioul after napping for over an hour. Walked around Marseille to Cours Julien, a pedestrian roadway with a bunch of restaurants further inland from the port. We found a pretty good restaurant called Resto Provencal. The portions here were very large and we could barely finish the food - chevre salad, duck, more boullaibaisse, creme brulee...too much. While we ate, a bunch of kids watched the movie, Horton, outside on a big screen as their parents ate nearby. It's a fun atmosphere but its getting late and there are definitely some sketchy streets around Marseille that we stumbled across while searching for Cours Julien that I would not want to encounter on the way back.
