We are on our BA flight from London-Gatwick to Marseille and I must say, flying in Europe is still great. Or is it that flying in the US is bad? Even though our flight was mildly delayed by a malfunctioning gate ramp, we got off the ground in no time. And even though this flight is only slightly over an hour in duration, we were served a nice sandwich along with a choice of wine or beer. And it was free to check bags - though there are strict weight limits. We saw on the news yesterday that BA is in a lot of trouble with potentially striking workers, but from oue end it looks pretty good. The weather forecast for Marseille: sunny and 79 each day - can't complain!
