Idyllic

You can also see the Calanques by land and stop by the sheltered, idyllic beaches along the way. Or if you're lucky, putter around in a yacht. It's a nice day trip through the Calanques to Cassis, a town known for its wine. Unfortunately we don't have the time. Plus, in the summer, the Calanques are usually closed to visitors by foot due to high winds causing fire hazards.
