Still on the train

We are having a fabulous time in Europe so far. The time difference is 1hr ahead of England, and I forgot to change my Blackberry so we woke up an hour late today, hence the rushed visit to La Panier - woops!
We have had no problems so far communicating as most everyone speaks some amount of english. Besides, I DID take 4 years of high school french and 1 year of college, though I barely remember how to conjugate! The people here are friendly, laid back, and despite what Eugene says, do not smell!
We had a slight setback at the train station as the ticket machines only take coins or credit cards with chips (I.e. Not american credit cards and shockingly, we did not have 50 euro in coins), but we were able to buy tickets on the train, no problem.
