Van gogh in Arles

Although there are no longer any van Gogh paintings in Arles, there remain many reminders of his presence. Last night, we visited Cafe La Nuit, thought to be the cafe that he painted several times. This morning, we strolled by the Pont Tranquietaille, a bridge that he also liked to paint. We took in the view of the Rhone, at the place where he painted Starry Night Over the Rhone. And we saw the location of his house (La Maison Jaune) that was bombed in WWII and is now a brasserie.
