Back in our room

The welcome performance was entertaining - the dancers are good, the host was funny. We found that there's a huge Canadian contingent on our ship. We then went to the Czar's Casino on Deck 5 where Eugene played some blackjack. Got lucky and he's up for the night. Called it quits after a few rounds. People here are very friendly. We're already seeing some familiar faces. Went to get a midnight snack on the Lido Deck at Emile's and wound up having a burger and fries and ice cream...I can see this becoming a battle of the bulge. Heading to bed now.
